Will & Jessica

Will and Jessica were married in October at Carolina Beach and had their reception at the Fort Fisher Aquarium. The weather was beautiful for a October wedding. October weddings are some of my favorites because the weather always seems to cooperate. We started the day off in a beach house getting ready were Jessica receive a gift from Tiffany & Co. from Will. Come to find out Will likes shopping at Tiffany & Co., lucky girl ;) The flowers for the day were provided by Island Florals by Roxanne and the cake was provided by Island Cakery. The cake was part cheesecake, this was a first for me. We captured many great pictures of the day and below are just a few, hope you enjoy!

I love these blue shoes!

The modern camera.

This is my favorite picture of the girls.

This is my favorite at the aquarium.

Congratulation Will and Jessica!!!!!

Anita and Caleb Part 1

Anita and Caleb were married in September on Figure Eight Island and had their reception at St.Thomas Preservation Hall. The weather was perfect and everything was beautiful. Anitas’s family and friends flew in from Hungary for the occasion. Anita was just the sweetest bride! She was so happy she was crying and I was crying with her. I just love all the emotion of a wedding day! Anita’s gorgeous flowers were done by Roberta over at Verzaals and the delicious cake was created by Robin at Eat Dessert First both of which you will see in the pictures. Hope you enjoy part one of their wedding day!

This was our view during the Ceremony.

Now this is a first Kiss!

Kristin and Jason

The one word that comes to mind when I think of Kristin and Jason is FUN! I had talked to Jason on the phone but we didn’t actually meet until the day of the wedding. I had no idea of what was in store for me. I had met Kristin a couple of times and even met some of her bridesmaids and we had a great time together. She was light hearted and fun loving, but Jason was to the extreme of these two things. He and his friends were incredible! I never thought that shooting the guys could be so much fun. We laugh and joked the entire time we were out on the beach. The entire day was a blast! The ceremony was on the beach and the reception was at Hanover Seaside Club. Everyone ate and danced the night away. Thanks guys for letting me be a part of such a great event! I hope you enjoy your images.

Kristin decided to use starfish as boutonnieres instead of flowers, great idea !

Can you believe that these three ladies are not related. I thought they were at least cousins but all three are just good friends. What a beautiful bride with her beautiful bridesmaids.

The time is near!

It was an absolutely beautiful day!

These are the fun loving guys. They did great in front of the camera, no one was camera shy here.

The whole group. Check out the youngest bridesmaid, she had a different face for the camera each time I got a shot of her. She is 3rd or 4th from the left depending on how you count.

I great ending to a great day!

Brandi & Steve

The album images below are from the album that I designed for Brandi and Steven. These guys were so much fun! We did engagement pictures together and Steven kept us laughing the whole time. Brandi, her mother and I did bridal portraits together and they turned out fantastic! Brandi and her mom were open to all my ideas, thanks guys for your trust. I’ll post some of these images later but today I’m posting their album which turned out perfect for them. Enjoy!

Tanya & Gerry

Tanya & Gerry had the perfect event which took place August 2,2008.  Their ceremony was held on the beach by Fort Fisher and their reception was held at the NC Aquarium. The weather was beautiful and the wind was blowing just right. Tanya has been the sweetest person ever and Gerry just goes with the flow.  I feel so fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with them and their families. I can’t wait for Tanya’s sister Suzy to get married so we can do it all again! Below are some of the images that show just how the day unfolded. Enjoy! Suzy on the left and Tanya, who is starting to show her excitiement! Waiting for the ceremony to start. Love this image! Small issue with the ring, it didn’t want to fit.

The birds were on their best behavior:) and so were the Ladies!

This was one of my favorite images of the day. I love the light and the way everyone wanted a glimpse of the bride.

I Love, Love the lighting on this one, so romantic!

The shark tank makes a nice back drop, what do you think?

Tanya with her sisters and niece, so beautiful.

The cake was made by the ladies at Island Cakery. Not only was the the cake gorgeous it tasted great as well, I love wedding cake it’s a weakness of mine.

It truly was a “thriller” of an evening!

Thanks guys for choosing me to take part in your day!
